This information is intended to be read in conjunction with Credit for Prior Learning in the Education of Registered Nurses.

Universities accepted by the Nurses and Midwives Board as being at the standard of Australian universities are those listed by AEI-NOOSR as "Higher Education, section 1" in the Republic of (South) Korea provided the institutions are not also listed in another category. The following are identified but it has not been confirmed that all the named universities actually conduct nursing courses at the right level or with content appropriate to achievement of the Australian National Competency Standards:

Many nursing courses are conducted in the Republic of (South) Korea by other institutions. Most persons educated and licensed as nurses in the Republic of Korea would be considered under Category Two of the abovementioned document issued by the Nurses and Midwives Board..
