This information is intended to be read in conjunction with Credit for Prior Learning in the Education of Registered Nurses.

Unless clearly demonstrated to the contrary, it should be presumed that persons educated as nurses or medical sisters in Slovenia were educated at secondary school level and would therefore be considered under category three in the abovementioned document.

Persons educated as "higher medical sisters" will usually have completed post-secondary courses and, depending on the duration of education at post-secondary level, may be eligible for consideration under category two in the abovementioned document.

In recent years there is an increased likelihood that education may have been at post-secondary level.
